Many universities have histories of memorable teams and players, but those of us who have been fans of the Texas Longhorns are convinced that our team has the greatest history. We are, of course, absolutely correct.

glory back to Austin. After starting this season 2-3, rumors continue swirl
that Strong's time at UT is limited. Will the October 15 win over Iowa State

Charlie Strong has as difficult a job as exists in American
sports. A head football coach at a major university is constantly under
scrutiny, and lives with high expectations from the school and its supporters. Such
a job can be rewarding if you win. It can be short-lived if you lose. Unfortunately
for Strong, his team is not performing up to standards, and that kind of
scenario usually ends with a pink slip.
