Pyramid Café, Luxor - Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas has always been famous for great food. Part of the draw for any casino is to offer gamblers quality places to eat during their breaks from spending money on the casino floor. While casinos don’t want people to spend too much time away from gambling, they realize that in order to attract customers that may stay for days or longer, the food must be great. The Pyramid Café in Luxor Las Vegas on the Strip is worth a visit.

Home Plate Bar and Grill – Houston, Texas

It’s funny how the same restaurant can receive glowing reviews from some people and an equal number of negatives from others. When I read things like that, I have to wonder: are we talking about the same place? In this case, we’re talking about Houston’s Home Plate Bar and Grill; so named as it sits right across the street from the home plate entrance to Minute Maid Park on Texas Avenue.

Jalisco Café – Silver City, New Mexico

My family and I stayed for a night in Silver City, New Mexico while on vacation several years ago. We had traveled all day and were looking for somewhere to eat that would be a little different than the usual – no chain restaurant for us that night, if possible.
